Côte d'Ivoire

Sadia and Chante did an excellent presentation on the Ivory Coast, which is another Francophone country in West Africa. Click on the link below to see their presentation, which is full of information on this country.

A woman washes a snake in the Yopougon neighbourhood of Abidjan, Ivory Coast, where Restaurant du Zoo serves African game. Patrons can eat crocodile, python soup or braised crocodile or viper dishes for about 4.5 euros (that's about £3.80) each. The animals come from all over Ivory Coast. 



This is called Achicki. It is made with casava and chicken, and people generally eat it with their hands.
